贝德·舒伯特

As Head of Venture at MHC Digital, Bede is an active participant in the Web3 and digital assets start-up ecosystem – sourcing, diligencing, investing and ultimately supporting the best and brightest teams who are driving the adoption of these revolutionary technologies.

Prior to joining MHC Digital, Bede spent 8 years within the Investment Banking division of Macquarie Capital at their global headquarters in Australia, most recently as a Director within the Infrastructure practice. Whilst at Macquarie Capital, Bede focussed on M&A Advisory in the Energy and Utilities sectors – advising on over $30bn in announced transactions. Prior to joining Macquarie Capital, Bede spent 3 years working in Management Consulting with Deloitte.

Bede holds a Master’s Degree in Finance from INSEAD as well as a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce (Economics and Finance) from Bond University. Bede has been a CFA charterholder since 2016.

Bede brings broad-based financial and operational expertise, including deep experience and skills in financial analysis, due diligence, investment management, portfolio construction, fundraising and M&A strategy. Bede has also been an active angel investor in Web3 start-ups for a number of years, through which he has developed strong relationships in the space and access to high quality deal flow – a selection of Bede’s recent venture investments in Web3 are shown below.
